Nerd Alert (aka...I love Target)

As a teacher, I have sort of accepted my basic nerd status. I mean, I am currently reading a 600 page history of the life of Mao Tse-tung. And I have been going up to school at least once a week since July and most days in August for a couple of hours.

And, like most teachers, I am in L.O.V.E. with the dollar aisle in Target. Seriously, they pulled out all the stops for teachers this year. I currently have over 2500 stickers from there, and I spent about $7 for all 2500 of them. They have teacher stamps, plan books, and some seriously amazing pencils! The pencils are in lots of colors and styles, including some Superman and Hello Kitty pencils, Diet Coke, CocaCola and Sprint pencils, glittery and sparkly pencils, striped and swirly pencils and more!!! I keep buying the pencils and am thinking about using them as little rewards this year....or maybe keep them all to myself, who knows?
I got my schedule today....and I have no 5th period, which means I will have a long lunch period, and once a week I won't have any classes after lunch! This will be the first year for that schedule for me, and it will be a little bit of an adjustment. Only three more weeks to summer!

A long lunch!!! I am so jealous! Teachers aren't allowed long lunches, we are the masters at eating in 25 minutes or less.
