The First Day of School

I have somewhat mixed feelings about today.... It didn't really feel like the first day of school, but I don't know if that is a good or a bad thing. I wasn't nervous and I didn't have any teacher dreams this year, but there wasn't the sense of excitement mixed with nervousness that I usually have on the first day of school. The kids are pretty squirrelly too. We had heard that this particular class was kind of rough, and it's true. We shall see how things progress.
