Do they at least wear shin guards? We went to our first church league softball game and Emily wanted to know why we wore cleats and no shin guards....the pitcher from the other team could have used them since someone hit a grounder right into his leg!

watch the video if you can, it is pretty hilarious. They stuff straw in their pants, that is the only protection allowed.
